Andrea Joy Cook, popularly called A.J. Cook is well known Canadian actor. Cook is best known for her performance as Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she is a supervisory agent. It began airing in 2005 but in 2017, the show was in its 13th Season. Cook was born and raised in Oshawa the city of Ontario, Canada. She has always had an interest in the field of acting. In the TV show Goosebumps, she had an unimportant role that helped launch her career. In 1999 she debuted in the film The Virgin Suicides. The movie was not very successful. She first appeared as a lead in the drama American-Canadian called Higher Ground the following year. After that, she was able to be seen on Criminal Minds, a police-crime drama which gained her immense fame. Criminal Minds is considered one of the best work of her career.
