Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American producer stage and screen actress, best recognized for her roles in films as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor as well as a producer and director. She is employed in film and television. She began acting on stage and then appeared in mainstream, independent, as well as television shows. She rose to fame as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico, and also appeared in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes.
